In this article, we’ll be walking through how to find and connect your Howl Publisher Slug to your Geniuslink account so you can start earning elevated commissions from brands supported by the Howl affiliate network.
What is Howl?
Howl is a specialized affiliate marketplace for creators and select retailers including Best Buy, Newegg, and hundreds more. Because they work closely with trusted creators and sellers, Howl typically offers much higher commission fees than regular affiliate programs.

NOTE: Howl offers affiliate support for several retailers which may already be supported by existing networks (such as Best Buy via Impact Radius) You'll always have the option to affiliate your links with any of the existing affiliate programs we support, but as an added benefit, if you now choose to add your Howl "pub slug" for a retailer you are already affiliating, we'll attempt to apply Howl affiliation BEFORE the existing program to ensure you earn the most commission for that retailer.
Obtaining your Howl Publisher Slug
In order to start affiliating your links with Howl, you'll first need to obtain your Publisher Slug value for your Howl account, and then add that to the Affiliate Settings tab of your Geniuslink account for the specific brand you wish to affiliate for.
Right now it is not possible to obtain your Pub Slug from within the Howl dashboard itself - instead, you'll need to reach out to Howl via email to request it.

Adding your Howl Publisher Slug to Your Geniuslink Account
After you have gotten your Publisher Slug back from Howl, navigate to the Affiliate tab of your Geniuslink dashboard, then click "Add a Program"
From there, scroll through the dropdown to any Howl-supported retailer, then enter and save your Publisher Slug in the corresponding field. It should look something like this:
Hit "Connect this Program" to save, and you're all set! Now whenever you receive a click on links to a Howl-supported retailer you have added your Pub Slug value to, the link should affiliate automatically.
