Localize Your Amazon Influencer Storefront with “IF” country rules

With a single link, your audience will be dynamically directed to their country-specific storefront, and improve your conversion rate.

As part of multiple Amazon Influencer international programs, you can use the Advanced Options feature, “IF” country rules, on the Links Page in the Geniuslink dashboard to automatically send visitors to the correct version of your storefront based on their location.

Before you start

Make sure you have:

  • A Geniuslink account

  • Your Amazon Influencer storefront URLs for each country where you are enrolled (for example, .com, .co.uk, .ca, .com.au)

How it works

Once your rules are saved, your geni.us link automatically routes visitors based on their location to your Influencer Page.

Example:

United States visitors → amazon.com/shop/yourstorefront

United Kingdom visitors → amazon.co.uk/shop/yourstorefront

Canada visitors → amazon.ca/shop/yourstorefront

Australia visitors → amazon.com.au/shop/yourstorefront

Visitors are seamlessly redirected to the correct storefront without having to click multiple links. Your single geni.us link will now automatically localize your Amazon Influencer storefront worldwide.

Step 1: Create or edit your Geniuslink

Go to the Links Page in your Geniuslink Dashboard.

You can either:

  • Create a new link, or

  • Edit an existing link

In the Product URL field, enter your default storefront destination. This would typically be the storefront where you receive the most traffic from. In this example, the Amazon US storefront will be the Destination URL

Example:

https://www.amazon.com/shop/yourstorefront

This URL will act as the fallback destination for any countries without specific rules.

Step 2: Add Advanced “IF” Country rules

Scroll down to the Custom rules section. Click “Add rule” and configure your international influencer storefronts, similar to the example below:

Condition

IF → country → [country]

Then set the destination URL for that country's Amazon storefront.

Example rules:

United Kingdom

Condition

IF country = United Kingdom

Destination

https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/yourstorefront

Canada

Condition

IF country = Canada

Destination

https://www.amazon.ca/shop/yourstorefront

Australia

Condition

IF country = Australia

Destination

https://www.amazon.com.au/shop/yourstorefront

Add additional rules for any other Amazon Influencer storefronts you have.

Example configuration

Your completed setup might look like this:

Condition

Destination

Default

amazon.com/shop/yourstorefront

IF Country = United Kingdom

amazon.co.uk/shop/yourstorefront

IF Country = Canada

amazon.ca/shop/yourstorefront

IF Country = Australia

amazon.com.au/shop/yourstorefront

Once you are happy with your setup, click the blue “Create” button at the bottom of the link editor, and you’ll have set up a localized geni.us link that you can share with your Amazon Influencer Storefront(s) around the world.

Only have one Amazon Influencer Storefront?

If you only joined the Amazon Influencer program in one country, you should definitely check where your audience is. Consider applying to any Amazon international storefront where 10% or more of your audience is located.
